Point Zero: Redefining Otaku

On the last saturday of march, we bring back what’s forgotten.

Kuro means black while Bara means rose.
Black Rose, a mystical flower that that carry a very special meaning of “revival”.

As Kuro Bara’s first event we are here to bring back what’s forgotten.
Hence this year’s cosplay theme is “Revive”

This paragraph sums up the theme of Kuro Bara, a new cosplay event in Singapore.

Where’s Kuro Bara?
Venue: Liang Court Atrium
Date: 28th March 2009
Time: 12pm-6pm

Compared to other cosplay events, Kuro Bara takes a different approach on the event highlights:

• - Instead of being in a corner of the event, Kuro Bara graffiti will be on the backdrop of the stage instead. This means all the work by artists will be up for all to see!
• - BJD (Ball Joint Doll) is also part of the Kuro Bara’s focus. Anyone can cosplay their dolfies to the theme and send it for competition.

The timeline of the event are as follow:

12.00pm —> Reg for cosplayer begin
12.30pm —> Opening by MC
1.00pm —> Atsuki GL & Angell Studio Fashion Show
1.45pm —> Nico Nico Dance Performance
2.00pm —> Mr & Ms BJD
2.30pm —> Solo Cosplay
3.45pm —> Group Cosplay
5.00pm —> Prize presentation

Cosplay registrations are open till 15 March 2009.
