Google Map StreetView is finally available in Singapore
There had been rustle a few years back when people reported seeing the Google Map Streetview Car roaming around our city. Today, Streeview is finally available for use in Singapore!
Streetview can be accessed via google map on desktop or via your phone apps. For android owners ( like myself v(^.^)v ), you can make use your onboard compass and gyro sensor to navigate around by using your handsets similar to Google Sky.
One thing I noticed while prowling through the service is that streetview have censored all of the vehicle licences and also blurring of people faces. This would give people more comfort regarding their privacy though some of the images may be still bring some concerns to many users.
