Magic the Gathering : Worldwake Pre-Release Aftermath
Yar, I know this is already the week where its “Release Party”. I just reach back to Singapore so this is a Large Post Back Log
Ok! Worldwake! Its a Crazy Pre – release for me for sure. It was a crazy day, as I’s always suffering from the “Pre – Release” Flu since my first pre release @ Shards of Alara. Practically it means “Tissue papers + MtG Cards”, nasty shit yes. But real crazy stuff happened to me….. as usual.
To me, not opening fresh packs means my luck meter shot super high, and its right. as what I opened that day is way too crazy…. What are the bombs which I opened?? See for yourself…
Yes, an Elf Bomb. Like what 1 of the guys said. You always gets the mother, but not the child (hint * Teh Choosen One…)

The only problem posted to me when I sort out my cards…. And also from not playing in pre – releases for awhile (Yar, I missed out Zendikar due to a worse Flu!)

No offenses to anyone out there, I love Chandra too, but this is the best way to feel when you hear that announcement…..
In the end my pool came up with something I’ll rather considered to be good, mostly effectively against weenie lovers.
Pure weenie killer, although it means trying to survive a turn 5 with heavy beating, especially Pulse trackers (Mini versions of Infectious Horror)
My one and only few bomb which would sink almost any small army…. but to no avail…
Looks good, feels good, works well…. but limited in limited. Might see better play in constructed then in sealed deck.
Since I was on a flu, and it kicked my brain off the working side, I ended up plummering down quite fast. The only consolation I had was this :

In the end, the guy who got my Jace, ended up snagging another Jace in his prizes…. Damn lucky guy he is…
To sum it off, Its being a good nice set, but there are more to this set then what is just seen on the spoilers. Zendikar and Worldwake. Next up would be Rise of the Eldrazi in just 2 months time. Guess they are really trying to do a large milking time by replacing the whole of standard in 1 year!
I think you got a pretty good range of cards for a sealed tournament. At least you have a solid bomb or threat. I missed this pre-release due to exams.
I went to the launch party sealed tournament this weekend…I got Dragon-master outcast + Marshal’s Anthem [foil], Raging Ravine, Halo hunter, Rite of Replication, Goblin Guide, and Seer’s Sundial.
My deck was red, green and white. I did alright and my prize was a pack of cards. I believe the rare was some vampire lord.
In my opinion, I like the Shards block better.
True, Shards Block was easier on Limited due to the multi colour support. Zendikar and Worldwake was fine, just that it really requires you to focus on 2 + 1 splash colour.
