Web based photo editing program powered by HTML5
Showcased on the first day of Google I/O, MugTag Darkroom is a new web based photo editing software based on HTML5 architecture.
Still in its beta stage, you are able to pull picture from your Flickr account, URL, Picasa or uploading and be able to do basic photo processing with the app on your desktop program like Adobe’s lightroom ( no pun intended..)
.As it supported by HTML5, it is able to harness various functionality such as offline caching which allows the app to function even if you are offline. However you would require a HTML5 enable browser ( in my case Chrome) to support the application.
Although still in its beta, the app certainly is impressive and I am looking forward to the functionality of the completed product.
Look likes HTML5 would be another revolutionary milestone for the web.
